“So, while our art cannot, as we wish it could, save us from war, privation, envy, greed, old age, or death, it can revitalize us amidst it all.” — Ray Bradbury

My art is at one with the rest of my life. I have a wide variety of interests that find expression in my art, abstract and realistic.

I use techniques and materials to achieve my aims, not as ends in themselves. As for reasons and theories that inform my art, I like what Claude Monet wrote, “Theories do not make a good picture — the most they do as a rule is conceal the inadequacy of one’s means of expression.”

I produce art to capture the eye, gladden the heart, uplift the spirit, and engage the intellect. Art to be lived with and seen on a daily basis.

In my art there is no goal to be reached, rather there is a voyage to be taken. My artworks are the journal of my journey through life.
