Wanda Venturelli is an artist energized by the natural beauty of the western landscape of California and New Mexico. A fine art major who gravitated to architecture, she studied at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) before teaming with Santa Barbara architects and her business partner as a drafter and designer.

While figurative drawing is the foundation of her practice, she has expanded her skills to oil painting, sumi and ink painting, acrylic and watercolor/gouache, as well as working in the three-dimensional medium of kiln-formed glass.

Wanda is continually challenging herself to experiment and play with all elements of design and surface in her artistic practice. Her work is physical, energetic, abstracted, and the culmination of her life experiences and artistic influences. In her downtown Santa Barbara studio, she approaches her work as an adventure that she is excited to share as an exercise in creation.
