Lynn's work has always been inspired by patterns and shapes of objects in nature and how these objects combine to evoke a range of emotions. Beginning her art journey as a photographer, she has focused on form and texture, zooming in so closely on a subject that it is often difficult to identify what it really is. Line, colors, and textures mix to deliver an image that transports the viewer to a new place in his/her imagination. Lynn has expanded her art to include abstract painting and mixed media, as she continues the exploration of form with color and texture. She gives herself over to the artistic process, trusting her own emotions and letting the process lead her to uncover her inner emotions. Her goal is to create a piece, representational or not, that uses the medium to evoke an emotional response.
