Barbara Cronin Hershberg is a retired elementary school teacher who is delighting in the opportunities less structured time has presented. She has a B.A. in dance and two master’s degrees in education from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Inspired by her friend Mindy Bailey, a local watercolorist and card maker, she started designing her own greeting cards to give to friends and to explore art on a small “canvas.” Just beginning her art journey, she is taken by the work of Ruby Silvious, Donna Watson, and Yuko Kimura. She is a member of the Goleta Valley Art Association, the Santa Barbara Art Association, and the Santa Barbara Abstract Art Collective.
