A crafter as a child and a model in my twenties, I was always involved in color and texture.
Because I returned to school at the age of forty, I discovered abstract art and received an interdisciplinary degree in art and English from the University of New Hampshire.
My experience in the fashion world led me to apply my past love for clothing to use dimension in my art work. And that same experience led to an affinity for fluidity which I turn to with a curved or circular line as opposed to the rigidity of the straight line. I like to give a feeling of motion to my work.
Collage and mixed media are the perfect way for me to express myself as an artist.
